    Hey Folks,
I知 a 47 year old just coming out of the first 2 weeks of Starting Strength. I知 finding it hard to complete the full workout in the time I have available to me.

I know the 4 day split is an intermediate level program. Is there a way to have a 4 day split NLP program or will there not be enough recovery time? Here is an example I thought of:

    Week A
    Squat/press
    Deadlift/benchpress
    Squat/press
    Power clean/bench press

    Week B
    Squat/bench press
    Deadlift/press
    Squat/bench press
    Power Clean/press

Then add chins on the DL days when I get there.

I知 new to all this, so I wouldn稚 be surprised if my question is ignorant.

This is less volume than a 3x a week program, so that's the issue, not recovery time. A lot of people find this dose works, more or less.

Hi, Justin - please tell us more about your training environment. What kind of gym, equipment, etc. Also, how long is your workout taking now, where is the time going (especially how long are you taking between warmup sets?) and what are your time constraints? These details will help us guide you to ways to do the NLP appropriately.

Height and weight would be good to know, as well, along with current working weights.
