I am interested to see if any of you guys have taken a look at what you spend of food each month while training?

I am not able to GOMAD due to GI issues that occurred when trying it so I've basically been trying to eat more at each meal and get extra protein in mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

I don't have a way to break it down for just me, but for our Family of 4: me, wife, two kids (9y, 4y) and we are spending 600-700/mo for meat, fresh veggies, and fruit. We always eat in, take lunch to work/school. This does not include protein powder.

Anyone else have a monthly figure?

Family of 3 here. We spend about $500 per month on food. Mostly take meals to work and don't eat out (usually). Doesn't include protein powder which adds about $60 per month.

Me (dad), wife, and 14 year old daughter.

Yeah my diet is so consistent that its easy to figure. Basically we're at $650 per month for my wife and I but I'm about $400 of that. In addition I'm averaging about $200 per month in supplements including protein powder. I can't wait till I get to Kuwait, the land of free limitless protein.

Ha 500 USD is weak sauce. 400 GBP a month for me. It's a killer.

I spend over 1000 USD/month for me, wife and kid (1 year old), but really comparing the US, where groceries are cheap, to Northern Europe, where they are not, doesn't say much.

Food cost runs approx $900/month for my wife and I which includes a lot of meat (one to two ribeye steaks/week, chicken, turkey, salmon). About half our food is organic. Add to this protein powder, $100/month, and Quest bars, $100/month, for the both of us. Currently I'm eating 3300 cals/day and my wife is between 1500 and 1800/day. So about $1100/month.
