Programming for Recreational Sports
52 and just learning the Starting Strength program...
I play adult baseball (not softball) and need to work sprint routines and Sunday game into my Starting Strength program (really one of the main goals is to perform optimally in that activity). How does being in optimum shape for the Sunday game affect the Starting Strength programming?

If you've been playing for a while, you're already adapted to it. Just add the novice program as written, making sure to eat enough to recover from everything and grow.
