You could always get a new knee, since our superior canadian health care plan covers that kind of thing.

Zing.
I'm also looking at it this way... I hit my squat goal months ago and my bench and deads are yet to get there. This gives me an opportunity to be more fresh when I start the bench and deads than I'd normally be. 200lb bench single still looks like a pipe dream in my 2-week timeline, but I'm definitely going to hit my 405lb deadlift considering I just did 375x4.
Anybody want to make a programming suggestion for me? I was suposed to squat 290, bench 165 and do pullups/back ext on my next workout, but squats are out. What do I do with all that energy and recovery ability!?

You could work the 30lb in 30 days westide bench program, you'll get 15-20 out of it in two weeks.

Does it require bands, chains and steroids? I'll work my gogglefu and check it out.

Obviously skip Leg press and Squats if your knee is bunk.

Okay, so what I gather is this: (set x rep@weight)
M:3x3@65%, bunch of "finishers" including squats 2x5
W:2x3@75%, bunch of finishers including deads 2x3
F: 2x2@85%, bunch of "finishers" including leg press 2x6
Week two is week 1 with +10lbs on each day's lifting.
December 31 is a friday, so my last training session would not be 2x2, but rather 1@200lbs.
I think the program is pretty ugly with all the "finishers" (which look like what the gloved 140lb kids do at the gym all the time), but I may be convinced to try it and see what I can do in two weeks.
My biggest problem would be that I have no idea what weight to use for "skullcrushers 2x10" or "lat pulldown curl grip 2x10"...

Well, I'm a little weary of it too, but Westside guys seem to get results.

They also seem to love drugs, sups, bench shirts and being SHWs, though the program does detail what to do if you bench under 150 up to over 400.
Maybe I should buy some creatine and give it a shot.
