tired. i think i might have read somewhere sometime that deadlifting 3 times per week when you're 60 is not the wisest of strategies...can't remember lol

got the 3 wheels barely and will cut back a little

Well you did it! I sure know the felling of " I used ta". As for DLing 3x a week I'm sure that's a bit muck with the weights your handling. I know that if I spread my grip training out I actually get a better reading on my grip tester. The trick is finding the right how long is your recovery period.

I think I'll probably now squat once a week and only do heavy deads once a week, haven't decided yet if the other session will be squats or medium deads.

Great Progress. I cant tell you how many people have tried to tell me that I shouldn’t be lifting heavy any more at my age. The one person besides my wife and kids who has been really supportive of the lifting is my surgeon. He just said, do it slow and “ I can’t wait to see how strong you get. “. I think adding a couple medium days like you have is brilliant.

thanks PD! It sounds like you have found a great and wise surgeon. Look I'm 60, I'm old, and I have a tough enough time recovering from 2 bottles of wine now that I know I can't go heavy 3 days a week but one day, to keep that mild progress going, especially with how good it makes my whole body feel? sign me up!
