Hi there
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZH9_qJf8q0
I've had a couple of weeks off squatting after a lower back disk issue that occurred after form degraded on a squat rep.
Today I went really light at 60kg just to see how it feels and to really focus on form. Several hours later my back feels great.
One of the factors that led to the injury I guess is that I sit at a computer all day. Also, between sets I tend to sit on the leg of the squat rack, about 6" off the ground. I'm 6'5" so I'm sure that's not a great posture to assume between sets.
I'm 44 and really want to avoid chronic back issues but want to keep squatting and figure that coming back light is the way to go for now.
Any other clues on how to avoid back issues would be appreciated.

It would be easier to watch if the video were not private.
Sorry about that - I've now made it unlisted rather than private.
I would say you're a bit high. Because of the angle that the video is shot at, I can't see your feet, but I'd bet money if you turned your toes out a little more, and got your knees out more, you'd fix it without having to do anything beyond thinking "knees out HARD."
Thanks Steve - these cues have been really helping. I'm not worrying about trying to add weight right now but just really nail my form. I'm getting deeper and really feeling it now in glutes and upper hamstrings.
