    Hi everyone
How should the speed of the descent for the press be? Fast like a deadlift or should I squeeze the eccentric?
Basically, how important is the eccentric in relation to the concentric?
    Thanks

Not important. Slightly more controlled than a deadlift so that you don't smack into a body part.

Control the descent. Don't think much more about it.

    Hello,

I think the answer also depends on whether you use a bit of bounce at the bottom or press from a dead stop (and again, whether with the bar on your shoulders or from a floating rack position).
With a stricter form, you need to take down the bar in a way that allows you to return to a good setup, and this might be easier to do if you apply a bit of control to the descent.
