volume cycling HLM
Just wanted to run this by you to make sure I am not doing anything stupid. I recently finished the GGW program and needless to say it worked. I just wanted to give it ago so I could put myself on autopilot more or less for a while, however I started a different variation that is a little more aggressive based on a thread I saw in here.
heavy days are(85%x4-6 back off 75%x5-8x3, 90%x2-4 80%x3x4-6, 95%x1-3 85%x3-5) note:deadlift i just do the top set and then 3 back offs@-20% for minimum reps)
medium days 3 sets minus 10% of the volume work for minimum reps
light days 2-3 sets minus 20% minimum reps
day 1
heavy squat
heavy bench
chins
day 2
light squat
PC's
heavy press
day 3
medium squat
heavy/medium deadlift
medium press
chins
I feel like i can progress faster and plus I want to push myself while im still a young man(33)I am also playing other sports while doing this so some weeks i can only fit in 2 days
