Decided to change my WO plan again. I'm almost 69 and haven't made any gains in strength in some time. I've been pretty consistent and trying to eat well, although trying not to gain weight. As I wrote before in my log, when I first began training it was done following Dr Ken Liestners methods, going to failure and not much rest between sets. Doing something along those lines again.
Hopefully this will help me stay in some sort of shape as I approach my 70's
1) Trap bar SLDL 185/8 BP 115/6 pulldown 130/6 about 30 seconds between theses lifts.
Waited about 90 seconds and did second round
2) SLDL 185/8 BP 115/6 Pulldown 130/6
3) SLDL 185/8 BP 115/5 pulldown 130/6
After doing this in my garage I went down to my basement and did one set of hammer leg press
210 for 12 reps using constant tension method.

Jerry, good effort especially on the third sets. Interesting approach to your speed workout. I do the opposite. I try to rest 3 to 4 minutes between work sets. I find if I rush between sets it affects the lift, especially the OHP. We can compare ur individual results over the next few months. good luck with your new WO plan.

Thanks for looking Pete.I am hoping that this type WO will help improve my health in general. I realize it goes against the principles of SS, long rest between sets and low reps. Glad to see your getting back too.
