Some good news today and some bad news. The bad news is that the bars I thought weighed 20 kg actually weigh 17 kg. There's only one 20 kg bar on the incline bench. So all my lifts are actually 3 kg lighter than I thought. Although the last time I was doing squats I was using the real 20 kg bar. I mean who the hell buys 17 kg bars ?! My lifts for today with the new weight:

    - squats:
    8 x 17 kg
    5 x 32 kg
    5 x 42 kg
    3 x 5 x 52 kg

    - bench press:
    5 x 17 kg
    5 x 27 kg
    3 x 5 x 37 kg

    - deadlift:
    5 x 57 kg

The good news is that I met a guy who is also doing SS so that kinda made my day. He told me the real weight of bars.

P.S. Why won't this forum show my smileys?

    1 kg = 2.25 lbs

    20 kg x 2.25 = 45 lbs

    17 kg * 2.25 = 38.25 lbs

    A bit of a difference.

    1kg = 2.2lbs (actually 2.20462262)

Just having a skim through your log you might be able to get away with doing less warm-up reps at the heavier weights i.e 5,5,3,2.

Yes, I intend do do less warmup with heavier sets (I just have to remember to do it).
