Half Marathon @ 1:43:14
Had a quick workout on Friday, and then rested my legs from cardio until a half marathon yesterday. Clocked in at 1:43, which isn't bad considering I was just taking it easy in terms of pacing.
This week I aim to ramp up my training to be more in line with my goals for the full marathon in 2 months. Ideally, this will mean ~7 min flat on the mile pacing. All of my lifts go up in size this week too, so it is going to be a good challenge for me!

I found this hill workout and it's insane! But it was a great challenge, and I'm happy with the results. Which of course meant dog tired. Haha.

Very gassed after that run. I'm quicker, but the extra 5 minutes made it that much tougher. Decided to take today off from lifting since I'll be hiking around all weekend with ~50 pounds on my back.
My body will also enjoy the respite from running. Which is great, because I've got my first 20 mile run scheduled for 8/18!

Just got in a quick run after work and pushed race pace this time. I was tired, but it's good to know 4 miles is doable. Now for the other 22.2. Haha.
Friday is a day off of running so just lifts. Squat and presses along with some abwork.
