Walt I think we are always playing catch up but what ya gonna do? Hopefully your Sunday lifts will go fine. I wish my squat would follow yours more closely as it is depressing at the moment!

    11-5-2022 Saturday

    Weight 195

    Squat
    070-3
    120-3
    170-1
    190-1
    170-4

170 and up felt like 270 today. I don't know what is up but my back has not liked squats the last two lift days. It hurts around the spine not in the muscles.

Bar hangs and I'm done till a better day. #%$T!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... unless you are competing, there no good reason to waste time and energy on Barbell Back Squats.
The risks far outweigh the rewards, and some of the technique... I had to stop watching a forum member on IG, because it made me
cringe every time he posted a squat video. He always looked like he was training for a Good Morning Contest. I'm sure it's still the same.
Rant over, good luck with your training.

Looks good, I mean you just did the same weight two days ago or not it was the bench, by the way your bench seems fine.

Thanks for the comments guys. The back seems okay after skipping a couple workouts even after this week's work. Today marks the 7th straight day of bathroom remodeling. Moving walls, rewiring, plumbing rework and new fixtures. It has been a chore and I'm cutting back on work starting today.

    Weight 194

    Bench
    070-4
    120-3
    160-3
    180-3

    Pulls
    120-3
    170-3
    210-3

    1st pulls in months.

A light day...still busy with remodeling. The nice warmer weather is gone so I have shifted to interior work for now.

    Squat
    070-5
    120-3
    160-3
    160-3

Great idea to get some lifting in while getting your home projects done . In 1996 I had moved to a new house and did my kitchen over and still worked full time as a mechanic and managed to WO too. Now that's not in my plans.

It's too bad that we don't have the strength and energy that we had back then. We could really get some work done. Back in 1996 I built my garage almost totally by myself. I only got help with the roof framing and decking. Now it takes me forever to do anything constructive.

Yes thats one of the fortunes with homegym to do some hobby work while recovering between sets. Takes forever though, the rest periods has a tendency to be prolonged.

I would not be lifting if it were not for a home gym. I just hang out and listen to music between sets and try not to loose focus which is not hard for me to do.
