Great write-up. I remember during Covid I had a relative tell them that they got the vaccine because "they believe in science" and my initial thought as to ask them to define the term science (knowing full well they would not be able to, without the use of Google or Wikipedia). I wisely ended up not asking that question, but the point remains, many people invoke the term as though it's some ultimate retort to be conjured up in place of a sound argument coupled with high-quality data.
Also a personal anecdote regarding cancer treatments- I had two elderly acquantances diagnosed with cancer around the same time. One opted for chemo+radiation, the other opted no treatment. The one who opted for no treatment looked in alright health when I saw him at the other one's funeral. Obviously I am in no way suggesting one not opt for treatment or that cancer treatments aren't effective, but it was an interesting observation.

I noticed this the other day. We knew this was coming, obviously. I did catch mention of myo/peri carditis as a side effect. I laughed at just how far this shit show has come. They now just roll those side effects into the campaign… it’s wild man.

I agree. I also feel that Trump is partially responsible for the bullshit that happened, he should have fired Tony and stuck with his gut on reopening by Easter. While I still like the guy, I feel like he has no business in the oval office after 2020 when there are other options on the right.
