Yea or nay?
I haven't had one since January 2020, and I don't think I'm ever going to go to the dentist again until I actually need to.
Insufficient evidence to understand effect of routine scaling and polishing

“Practitioners are urged in this instance to obtain, read, and reflect on the full review. Scale and polish procedures are common in most practices, and practitioners who perform and schedule these should take this opportunity to examine what they believe, in the light of what is known about its effectiveness on a periodic basis. If practitioners draw the likely conclusion that there is no support for any recall regimen based on fixed intervals between scale and polishing that does not include an evaluation of clinical outcomes, then the most important implication of the review will have been successfully transferred. It will then be on their shoulders to complete the transfer into their practices.”
I have always considered regular cleaning at the office to be a business practice for the Hygienist's portion of the income stream. I know a woman who insisted on having her teeth cleaned regularly, who had to be on antibiotics for 3 days prior to the appointment, since the gums are an excellent pathway to cardiac circulation.

Interesting topic. I haven't been to a dentist since 2014, despite having a couple of broken old fillings. Fortunately not having any complications.
No fear of going to the dentist, other than my pockets being emptied.

I read strength standards and I find them very interesting and useful. But I don't know in the deadlift standards only the conventional deadlift allowed or the standards based on conventional and sumo deadlift as well?
Where did you read them? I find them neither interesting or useful.
From exrx.net the first time. But I don't know if sumo deadlift is part of these deadlift strength standards or only conventional added in standards?
I am not responsible for what you read on exrx.com. If it was something we created and found useful, it would be on our website.
