Thanks guys! We just have to do the best we can. I want to get the bench and squat back up to where it was before this last downturn started. IE:early 2022. Bench-225-1 Squat 250-1. I did not plan to stop there but life just took a downturn. What ya gonna do but work at getting it back. At almost 70 years old these are not big weights by any means and even though I went well past there in my early thirties I could not do these weights in my early twenties. I was skinny.

Growing up in Texas, combined with hating wearing my glasses (geeky, huge plastic frames), I was walking to my friend's house one day and see a huge worm or something on his front yard. I knock on the door and point to it. My friend, not 20/200, screamed for his dad, who brought a shovel from the garage, and cut off the head of the copperhead (or water moccasin, can't remember) on their front yard. Freaked me out.

I can't blame you for that. Like I said I have no love for those things.

I had to stop and take time to lift a little as I have worked every day on my gym/garage remodel. So far I have taken down four walls moved an entry door and rebuilt one wall. I have two more walls to build and after finishing wiring, insulation and sheetrock I can install more double layer 3/4" plywood for a bigger lift area. Things will improve soon as long as I keep my momentum up.

I hope everyone is doing good!
