The "regular" hospitals seem to get filled up with people who don't pay much or anything for treatment, including illegals. The rest of the people are pretty much fucked unless they're rich.

Just in case you were wondering, I'm with this guy: Instapundit >> Blog Archive >> I’M WITH HIM. WHAT HE SAID: I will NOT wear a mask, part two. I will not wear the mask. I will

I will NOT wear a mask, part two – Behind The Black – Robert Zimmerman

It now appears that the same government thugs who imposed jab and mask mandates before, working in league with the corrupt mainstream press, are once again trying to gin up another COVID panic, and force the same insane policies of lockdowns, school closures, and mask mandates all over again.

A good example of this new fear-mongering can be found in this absurd Daily Mail article today, sounding the alarm that a new mutant stream of COVID has now entered the United States. Let me quote:

A second American tested positive for the new highly-mutated BA.2.86 Covid variant that has been causing global alarm over its rapid transmission.

The positive case was detected in an asymptomatic patient in Virginia who was tested August 10 after returning to the US from Japan. [emphasis mine]

Regular hospitals plus regular clinics; it isn't just an emergency room problem as some of the media attempt to depict it.
They also staff translators specifically for illegal aliens.
In addition, 80% of illegal aliens are now fraudulently using one or more social security numbers they bought from the cartel, ngos or dark web in order to fraudulently access additional welfare benefits or steal benefits from unsuspecting citizens.

I thought the song was brilliant and timely. This was the first time I heard the song and the first time I heard this singer. I still don't know who the guy is.
I never listen to this genre either.

I’m not sure if it is still this way, but in the mid to late 2000’s construction companies would hire illegals and pay them cash. The benefit was they do not have to pay social security or workman’s comp on them, a very high expense for a small business owner in the states. When my dad asked another contractor what happens if they get hurt on the job with no workman’s comp he said they drop them off in front of the emergency room, leave them, and never see them again. His theory was that the emergency room by law can not turn away anyone, but since the worker was illegal they would be afraid of being deported if they sued the employer.

So to actually answer your question, although one of the doctors or healthcare workers could probably answer better, as far as I know every hospital has a responsibility to treat anybody who comes in the door, regardless of their ability to pay.

Anyone who'd be in the know is deeply incentivized to put the hardest propaganda spin on any information they give. Both sides have been telling us the other is totally fucked and on the brink of defeat almost since this thing began.
The area Russia has occupied contains, according to what the CIA has admitted to in the Washington Post, 12 trillion dollars worth of natural resources. So it is safe to assume the actual quantity is much greater, and this natural wealth is many, many times greater than the losses to Russia via sanctions and stuff. Short of a full-on direct engagement of NATO personnel on the side of the Ukrainian military forces (I mean, actual armies, not selected mercenaries or special forces that we see all over the place), there is zero chance that this territory will be taken back. I have no idea what the Russian initial plans for the war were, but once they had incorporated the areas into the Russian Federation, they have successfully resisted any additional take over of land. Since this land is like part of the RF, they are legally bound to defend it, plus they have a clear mandate to increase the number of troops as necessity arises. The fact that NATO has not launched war on the Russian Federation shows that the brass considers this unwinnable. A negotiated settlement is coming soon, there is a media frenzy to spin it as a Russian loss (I don't think the Kremlin cares), but the reality is clear. wal's idea of the coming of the Antichrist in the form of a Babylon EU mega empire has not come to fruition - the would-be empire doesn't have soldiers.

Vivek: I am the Only Candidate on The Stage That is Not Bought & Paid For, Climate Change is a Hoax!

Regardless of what he *says*, I think Vivek Ramaswamy is a Trojan Horse. I was also not impressed with Trump's interview on Tucker last night, but at least I still believe the enemy truly hates Trump.

Many US cities are “sanctuary” cities. Proof of citizenship is not a requirement for basically anything.

They are able to scoop up the Obamacare benefits, because they are able to keep their gross incomes low while lowering living costs by pooling resources. They often live in homes with 5 or more working people in them sharing those costs. They individually get taxed in the lowest brackets and because their individual incomes are so low, are eligible for benefits like Obamacare. Despite what you may think, Obamacare health covers is actually much, much better than the kind people have to pay for or get from an employer. The only exception is maybe really wealthy people who pay top dollar for their insurance. They probably enjoy the same level of benefit. They qualify as "poor" for our welfare state, but they are actually in a position where they are able to build savings.
